Idaho State "fair catch"

Why is it a TV announcer says it's okay to hit a runner in the head; but not a qb? It's ok to hit Rex in the head but not Taylor; unless Taylor is running. WTH That ex-Raider player announcer said that in one of our games. And he gets paid for this crap. So if Rex is taking the snap it's not okay to hit him in the head??? I'm sure all the DC's will like those types of calls.

IF it's already been discussed in another thread I am so very sorry. not really

It's not necessarily just QB/RB differences. It's also pocket passer/running QB differences on how it is called. If you have time, rewatch the Redskins-Rams game from last weekend. RG3 slid frequently and the Rams would just dive on him still. If Tom Brady or Peyton Manning were to do the same thing, the defender would get flagged every time. It's silly stuff.
