Any one of you that says Cally's going to win more than 6 games next year is either DREAMING or DELUSIONAL. It ain't happen'n. dedhoarse

Aboslutely vital that he gets 10 wins or he can pack his bags.
Lol no way in hell. It depends on who pederson all schedules which I'm sure it'll be cupcake city but Id be very suprised not to see losses to.....Usc,Texas,ISU,CU, and A&m. Who knows about the rest. The kansas teams will be tough and mizzou will be tough and who knows on okie state.

Well he might need 10 but look at that schedule USC-loss, Texas-loss, ISU-loss, KSU-loss maybe a win, OSU-loss because it's on the road, Texas A&M-loss, KU-probably win, MU-maybe a win, CU-probably loss, and there will be 2 cupcakes probably so there is your 4 wins if you are lucky. Great decision to get rid of a 9 win coach to bring in a annual 5 win or LESS coach! Especially when he calls his team "the dumbest team in America" well I think he is the dumbest coack in America!! Way to go Pederson thank you very much for taking this program down into the toilet and making us the new doormat of the Big 12!!!!

I'd say he needs 9 wins next season. USC and Texas are probably losses, so he would have to run the table on the remaining games. After what we saw(or listened to) yesterday, doesn't seem all that likely.

Not sure how many wins he "needs". I am guessing by "needs" you mean "needs or he is canned". In that case, I don't know. Pedersen hasn't really given any indication he needs to win x games to keep his job, and he probably won't. To the public at least. That woud be awful.

So, that said, I would like to see 9 wins. So, yea, I'll go with that.

If we get some good recurit's, imma have to say between 8 and 9, but dont quote me on that one, we know how this team can be as of late :)

In reality we will still have a young team. Overall. We will have a senior at QB, (assuming he still gets the start), but as a team we will still be pretty young. Considering if a lot of true freshmen play.

IF Cally's back??

:rollin :rollin :rollin :rollin

Of course he's back!! He has a contract. He's going nowhere until it runs out. Unless you know someone to buy out his contract and his staff's. :horns2

I know their schedule next year is pretty brutal, but I can't find it anywhere. Does anyone have a link to the 2006 schedule?

www.nationalchamps.net

I'm sure it's on the official athletic department site, but I always go to the above site because they have the future schedules for all D1 teams.

thanks Utah. Actually, after some searching, I found it at http://www.huskerpedia.com/2000s.html#2006. And the way Callahan's teams have been playing the last two years, I honestly can't see him leading the Huskers to more than 4 wins next year -and that's only if he can schedule a couple of cream puffs for those TBA games. How sad.
