For the Auburn fans out there. It is reported by two newspapers in Florida that Alabama is ready to offer Saban $40 million to come coach at 'Bama. As an Auburn follower (livinging in 'Bama, had to choose the lesser of the two evils!), I hate to see him go to 'Bama. I can't even imagine how he could turn the program around. Will he take the job? If i sat back and looked at my current $22.5 million contract and then looked at $40 million, how could i turn it down?! Your takes? From what I hear, 'Bama plans to announce a new coach at the end of the week, Saban or not.

 
for $40 million i would become the head coach of kSUCks.

then i would be the worst coach ever, have them lose every game until i got fired then have them buy out my contract

 
Other than the year Sabans LSU team won the national title. Auburn's record against him was pretty good. :) I'm not worried if he takes the Bama job. Be fun whipping his butt again. lol

 
ESPN is reporting Saban has been hired by Bama to be their new HC. I honestly don't see Saban being at Bama for more than 5 years and I think he'll hate every minute of it. The Bama boosters have way too much control over the program.

he's out in two. and the only thing that will make him feel better will be be the wheelbarrels of cash he'll be hauling on his way out of tuscaloosa.

if there's a bonus to all this, it's this: it makes the solich firing and the hiring of bill callahan look like a thoughtout and well executed plan constucted by hannibal from the 'a-team'.
