I don't think they would simply cause of schedule and at times how sloppy they played. I know strength of schedule doesn't play a factor but i do believe voters would on deciding who should Notre Dame play. Yes i do think Ohio St. would beat us in the Big Ten championship game if they could play.

I really don't think even if we were to beat Nebraska in the B1G championship game we would even be ranked Number 2 either? I think we would've finished number 3 because the NCAA wants to the winner if the SEC Chamoionship game in the NC Game.

All those speculated #3s involve the AP poll which has people voting us low (as low as #12) because they've admitted they only vote us that low due to the sanctions. Playing the conference championship would add another quality win (if we were to win it) that could push us over Notre Dame if we weren't higher than them to begin with.

How would they be undefeated? You cannot assume if you didn't have sanctions, and Tress wasn't fired, that he would of done what Urban has done.
