Not just blown out but humiliatingly blown out by the little sisters of the blind while playing the wrong sport like a 7 year old pop warner B squad. At least that’s what I’ve garnered from the threads.
People have asked if DR will be transferring. People have complained that the only reason DR is here is because of his dad, uncle and Warren Buffet levels of money…..all presented as evidence as how Nebraska has not improved one iota. And of course the ever present talking about such and such from 8 years ago like that has anything whatsoever to do with the outcome of this game. It’s a real s#!tshow of incredible whining analysis in those threads.

I suspect people have a lot of pent up frustration after giving Frost a pass for 5 years. I figured this would happen with whoever followed him.
Even before Friday it seemed like Rhule was taken aback by all the bellyaching in Husker Nation after 3 consecutive dominant victories to start the season.
Vegas having him as one of the favorites to take the Florida State job shouldn't surprise anybody.

Losing a one score game. We've lost a ton of one score games that it is beyond comical and a national punchline. We needed just 1 win in four games to make a bowl game last year with the same coaches and same defense. We finally get a QB, but our defense and special teams play worse. People get frustrated.

so far i have only seen 1 call for a new head coach. but lot's of calls for a new oc and wr coach. special teams were apparently playing to help illinois from what i've read. the defensive performance will kill any hopes coach white had of getting a head coaching job. the refs were apparently paid off by the b1G to screw us and the announcers were pro illini. it reads like we lost in a blowout that totally invalidates any good the team has done so far this year.

It’s because the result is exactly what we’ve seen for years. Pathetic special teams. Dumb penalties. Mind bogglingly bad OT performance. All the Chasing 3 stuff that gets promoted by the ministry of propaganda, and the result is the exact same. We roasted Scott and others for this result but somehow Rhule gets the benefit of the doubt.
Bielema and Illinois waltz into a hostile environment, against a ranked opponent, on a short week, and figure it out. I see no scenario where this team can pull that feat off.

The receivers showed up big time after being AWOL for two games, but we got blown out by a team some predicted us to beat by 24. The kicker (first time playing, missed one) was horrible and cost us the game. The defense was lost most of the game. Tommi Hill went out with an injury and his replacements had no idea what to do. Satterfield's playcalling was yet again a mystery....running and short passing down the field with ease, then trying some trick play that Raiola overthrew every time. Illinois tricked White's defense with astonishing ease. Huskers were winded on home field in 4th quarter.

Fans can't get over the past 15 years. They are still complaining about what happened 5 years ago, instead of Friday night.

Ehh people where making excuses for Frost for years, even after the Georgia Southern fiasco. Some of us called him on his incompetency, but the vast majority were in denial. He got the benefit of the doubt more than any coach in Husker history, by a long shot.
Also, the reaction to this game is your idea of Rhule getting the benefit of the doubt? What planet are you living on?
Some of you like to take the few lunatic fringe posts and explode them into "see this is how Nebraska fans are."
Just as silly are the ones calling out posters for whining while NU was winning, only to see the game lost for some of the reasons posters were b!^@hing about.
I don't understand the posters that are so concerned about what others post, especially during a game like Fridays that was expected to generate emotion among fans.

I’m not excusing all the Sky is Falling posters who complain so much after just a single loss, but if Rhule is gonna leave this situation because he doesn’t like hearing that, then he probably needs a bit thicker skin and practice what he preaches to his athletes. If he doesn’t have that, then maybe he isn’t the right person anyways.
He gets paid big boy money and should be able to be a big boy and drown out the criticism he doesn’t like.
My opinion is stays 5 yrs or more to build something, but that would also be going against his coaching history so who really knows. Let’s just hope he builds a winner while he is here and has the program in good shape if/when he leaves.
