I believe many of the players are alluding to their displeasure with Harvey Perlman's involvement in the firing of Coach Bo. Eichorst is just the hired gun.

In 2012 I was flabbergasted when Perlman had a press conference, to announce the selection of Eichorst, and Coach Osborne didn't attend. When asked about this Perlman had the nerve to disrespect TO by saying "I think he's disappointed he didn't play a stronger role."

He should be first to go even if it does work out. The guy is a fricking weasel and at least half the reason we are in the position we have been over the last 14 years.

 
Who else should go? Eichorst? Yep, but should Perlman get the opportunity to hire his 4th AD? Nope. If this HC hire goes south, we are going to see a shake down at the university (one reason firing Bo was a HUGE swing by Eichorst and Perlman).

Which brings me to my question. What if we get this splash hire that has been extremely successful everywhere he's been and he doesn't get over the nine win hump? Do we accept where we are, or do we continue throwing more money into the rathole?

Agreed. The football program may not be were it should be but the university itself is in great shape. It's not all about football.

 
Make a decision on who runs the entire University based on emotional fan's opinion of how one sports program is performing.....

I think to many people have listened to the BS that the Northern schools just cant compete anymore so much that they are starting to believe it too. The media, well all it takes is a few to not like a place for whatever reason to make it sound like it is the worse place in the world. These a lot of times are the same people who also said that Bo is an idiot, look at his sideling demeanor, and that he will not get us over the hump and then we fire him and now we are dumb for doing so because that what we are. I know this is a little off track but Harvey better be hoping the Athletic department succeeds for crying out loud that is a lot of money it brings in.

 
The patience with Harvey as run pretty thin. if it werent for the current University President search, ole Harv may have already been forced into retirement. JMO.
