Do the goalposts come down? This is the game that could put us back in the mix. We haven't done

Why not! I say they take them down and insert the ends of the uprights up the rear extremities of Mark May and Lou Holts and take them for a ride down Cornhusker Highway.

 
I want to see it happen becuase it would be 'the game' that we've been looking to win. I see the university trying to stop it and most likely will but I want to see it happen.

 
I don't think they will come down. We need to act like we have been there before. We never tore down the goal post while we were winning in the 90s so there is no reason to tear them down after this victory.

We are Nebraska. The posts never come down. We expect to our team to win. Beating top teams is what we are supposed to do.

 
They have come down,I dont remember the game,but I've got a buddy that still has an 18" piece of the one that was escorted down O street back when.Cut it into take home size pieces with a hacksaw.

 
Do you guys remember how crazy it was in '94 when we beat "The U of thugs?" People running out into the streets from the bars in freezing temperatures. I remember some of those days when goalposts came down..perhaps it was against OU? But anyway, to answer the question, I don't think it warrants our posts coming down. Just head to the bars on O street and celebrate.
