If you have to play a team like Idaho State, it is good to dominate like today. I think back to Ball State several years ago. Ball State is another team that we should demolish every time we play. Although that is the first that comes to mind, it seems that only this year, and maybe last, we are finally getting back to where we treat the Idaho States with respect, then take them behind the shed and give them a whipping.

This is what the nation expects though....................it'll help us gain some experience and get some confidence.
Exactly...seeing a LOT of people getting playing time. That is what builds long term greatness. I'm loving that, not so much the whipping we are laying down.

South Dakota State

South Dakota is fielding some great FB teams for a state w/so little to offer socially and having winters that totally suck. Our indoor football league would have won 7 straight championships if not for an idiot owner who didn't pay his insurance premiums. Sioux Falls University was a dominate NAIA program, winning several NC's, before moving up a level last year. USD and SDSU both moved up a level and have wins over B1G (Minnesota) and Big 12 (Kansas) teams and SDSU gave UNL a game 2 years ago.

For what it's worth, South Dakota State was 5-6 the year they came to Lincoln. 5-5 if you discount the Nebraska game.

Let's not pretend they were a good team, even in their own realm.
