Now has 10 Power 5 offers.  He says he doesn't have a list of favorites because he's still seeing who's interested.  Nebraska and Missouri recruiting him the hardest.  He thinks LSU and Notre Dame may be close to offering.  Says he'd like to visit LSU if he gets an offer.

He said the teams he hears from the most are Arizona State, Texas A&M, Notre Dame, Michigan and Auburn.  He said he hears from Nebraska every week including Frost a couple days ago and sometimes hears from more than one of our coaches in a day.  Unclear if those five are talking to him more than Nebraska or he maybe thought the Husker beat reported was asking about other schools.

We are recruiting him to play Inside Linebacker.  He said he's never played inside so he's not sure about that but the coaches have told him he'll play wherever he fits best.

Said he wants to run track in college - even though he just topped 200 pounds.  Ran an 10.54 100 meters and a 21.82 200 meters as a freshman.  I'm sure he was lighter then but that's flying for anyone, let alone a freshman.

He is actually faster now.  He loves track, mom holds every Burke record and ran at Illinois where his Dad played football.  Losing last season in both track and football has motivated him to be great.  If spring sports happen, Devon will dominate the State Track Meet.

The very minimal inside scoop I have to contribute on the recruiting front says Jackson and Woods will likely go somewhere together. And it won’t be Nebraska
