Illinois Week Pressers

Said Bando and AJ Forbes taking reps at tackle this week as well.  Be nice if we didn't need Jaimes or Cam this weekend....heal up 100% before OSU. Be great to be 100% across the board.

 
@lo country Thing is, they need to heal, but they also definitely need more reps, especially Cam. In a sense we're probably damned if we do and damned if we don't, there.

This is my thinking as well.  He was shown later in the NIll game with an ice pack on his shoulder with his jersey over the top.  No sling or anything like that.   My guess is they're holding him out of contact (green jersey) to protect it and let it rest but I won't be surprised if he's out there Saturday.

 
The Green news doesn't surprise me.  It's our deepest position on the team with good players and he wasn't here all summer for S&C.

Yeah, assuming he's really not even ready this week - and given that he didn't play in a blowout last week, that seems likely - we'll have eight games left (regular season).  He can play in four of those and save a year of eligibility.  That, combined with the depth you mentioned and I think that makes sense at this point.
