Schematically Cubit puts a lot of the onus on the WRs to execute what are referred to as option routes. What that means is that the WR runs a route based on what the DB gives him. This is why Lunt is so often throwing it to open space and the ball falls harmlessly to the ground. The WR went the wrong way, Lunt threw it to where the WR should have been, but isn't.
