I am a teacher in kansas city, ks. in my school my head principle and a few teachers are huge sooner fans...many other teachers are KU grads/fans...and worst of all most students are KSU fans as well as 2 of the assistant principles are KSU grads....one even played for KSU in the early 90's...so the next 3 weeks are big for bragging rights....

so after great reflection on my man thrown....i realized the reason we lost last week was that i was not a big enough fan.....of course i make my classes watch tunnel walk downloads....of course the schedual is up in my room.....of course we have to spend the first 5 minutes each monday discussing the game...of course i wear a red and black polo every friday even though our school colors are green,gold,black.....but i realized it was not enough....

i was not supporting my team in hostile territory and missouri snuck up on us....so today i have prepared...i have my red and black shirt on....i through away my unlucky red underwear and dawned new black underwear to support the D....and best of all..outside my classroom door...in the hallway in front of large windows for all to see and worship...my 8 foot blow up little red if representing....yes...i have brought out little red into the fight....it will be a battle for him today...he will have to fend of nonbelievers and even worse FRESHMAN....but he will make it as will the team....there are many other bleeding husker red in this school and they will be there for lil red....and lil red will lead us to 3 straight victories over the kansas/oklahom hethens.....

lil red has been stolen....bastards!!!!!!!! the KU fans here cant stand love for someones team.....but lil red's spirit will live on..by stealing him they have only made his power greater....

 
I love the spirit godd2. Lil' Red must be recovered!!!!!!!! Well I live in Olathe, so if they wanna play hardball you tell them a truckload of skers are on our way to Lawrence to snatch that hideous Chickenhawk for a mascot and he'll be in my trunk until Lil Red is returned to his rightful owner! :bat :steam :horns2

lil red has been found.....students narc'd on another teacher.....so they forced me to put it back up....remind them that " HUSKERS CANT BE BEAT WONT BE BEAT" and now a student has the responsibility to watch it....

it should be said the teacher that is a sooner fan doesnt like it but if kids got near it he would yell at them...that is a true competetor and someone that understands tradition....

here all they talk about is basketball..i looked it up and really they are not that impressive...they only have 4 national champs in bball and 2 of those were awarded retroactively....they have 10 final 4's which i guess to me is being top 5...they do have 6 other times the ended up top 5 somehow but not final 4?????? they also have 31 conf. championships....

on the other hand from the sites i have found...

NU football has 5 national champs (12 if you count all the small unoffiacal polls) 42 conf champs top 10 43 out of 69 years of the AP.....

who is really dominent in their sport???? i think KU needs to win some nationals before they talk about anything.....

there is an on going bet with my friends from KU that NU will win the National in football before KU does in bball....i like our chances...
