Wow, this guy is amazing...before tonight's game against the Raptors he is averaging 34.8 ppg. Tonight he is way over 60 points for the 2nd time this season! He ended up with 81 points on a 60% average!!! The Lakers were down by 14 at half, but Kobe single handedly brought them in front and they went on to win by 17! How do you even put it into words of how good this guy is...2nd highest point total in NBA history.

:clap

81 freaking points. I know the Raptors aren't the best around but dang. My friend called me and woke me up to tell me about it.

The team had to be feeding him the ball nonstop. What message does it give to his team mates?

A: Damn he is a ball hog . Why are we even here?

OR

B: Damn give him the ball every possession. He is on FIRE.

He scored 62 points in a game earlier this year against the Dallas Mavericks and was yanked before the 4th quarter started and could have scored over 80 points in that game as well. His 82 points is the 5th time this year he's scored over 50 points in a game, and his 12th game this season scoring 40+ points or more. I use to be a Huge Lakers fans but stopped rooting for L.A the moment he broke up the Shaq/Kobe combo. Since then, been a Miami fan because i love Shaq. The guy is flat out funny and has a funny outlook on life unlike Kobe who is a selfish litle prick.

I would bet his fellow players are not unhappy with him...they have won 7 of their last 10 after kobe's suspension with kobe averaging 45 a game...also he's not the best defensive player, but the guy can play defence.

btw...kobe now averages 35.9 ppg, which is nearly a whole point above MJ's record of 35 ppg in a full season...
37.1 was Jordan's career high. He did it in his third year. He averaged 35 the next year.

my bad...could have sworn the Tv showed 35 when comparing awhile back, but I am wrong...

Thats one thing I will agree with you on :thumbs I used to love the Lakers, back to the "Showtime" days, and it was great to see Shaq, Kobe, and Phil bring the Lakers back to prominance.

Shaq is a great as a character as he a ball player. When Kobe went off crying like a little bi-atch, it made me sick, and now I pull for the Heat.

Can't stand Kobe and the Lakers! Biggest baby in the world. Not to mention his little incident in a Colorado hotel room. Sorry. Kobe, to me, represents all that is wrong with professional athletes today.

And, of course, when you put the ball up a zillion-million times, you're gonna score a lot of points. A team player tries to make anyone around him better. Kobe doesn't do that...and he never will. Makes me sick that all the sports analysts are goo-gooing all over him.
