Interesting news about officiating crew for Big 12 CCG

The thing I took from the article? If this is the #1 rated crew why haven't we had them all year? Isn't that kind of odd that in a game between undefeated teams (twice-osu and mizzou) and a game that has the #8 and #18 ranked teams (I believe thats what they were) we don't get the best the league has to offer?
It's not a crew. It's an "all-star" lineup, meaning the top rated officials at each spot from various crews. The group doing our game won't have done a game together all year.

Conspiracy theorists would worry about how that crew was selected--top rated in what respect, anti-Nebraska bias?

What I got from this article was that Osborne got across that the A&M officials were bad and we don't want them again, and that he has been involved in discussions about it.

But are they the same officials from last year's Big 12 CCG?
The refs that we had for the Iowa state, Texas and aTm are the same refs as last years ccg. Now they are stating we are getting a new batch that we have yet to ref us yet.

Maybe some of them, but not all of them. The head official wasn't, at least.

That head guy is not the same guy that looks like papa elf from Elf.

You are not reading that\responding correctly. The number one referee is on a crew that has not done any of Nebraska's games. Four other members of that crew will also be at the CCG. The big questioned asked (which is the red beacon question)why didn't that crew do any of Nebraska's games???

OK, gotcha, most of the officials are from one crew, and we haven't seen that crew. Dunno why. How many crews are there? Might not be that much of an anomaly.

With 12 teams, there would need to be at least 6 crews, not including any out of conference games that use Big XII officials. 6 crews and 12 games per team, we'd have a shot at seeing each crew twice. We know we had the same crew 3 times in all the games we got hosed, or nearly hosed.

Just spit-balling here, but I'd guess there are at least 8+ crews.

Did anyone else notice a glaring lack of shown replays after close calls/penalties durring the CU game?

I realize this is the first game I was able to watch on my own tv for over a month. (dang ABC/ESPN..I had to watch the ATM game on my bad internet connection and finally at a nearby bar..Instead they showed USC out here on ABC..Didn't they used to ban tv appearances by teams on probation?) :rant

I almost find it humorous that a husker would think that Nebraska would get the best of anything from the Big XII, especially considering who is runnin the show.
