Interim Head Coach Mickey Joseph

interim coaches are usually bandaids for the rest of the season, in most cases, few continue on.

this hire would seem to follow the trend.  experience is critical.

Here's Irving with Mickey on Friday. First Black Neb head coach means a lot to Irving, they both have a lot of Omega Psi Phi pride. There was a MJ highlight vid posted the other day, MJ throws the hooks after every TD!

Mitch Sherman,  are you crazy?

Why do you think that  it is necessary and important to tweet another man's written paperwork ?

I'm sorry, but this is digging into a grown man's business, and putting it out there for the world to see.

That is so f#&%ing shady.

dude-it was all over the press today.  sports illustrated had a big article on it.  https://www.si.com/college/2022/09/23/source-joseph-took-nebraska-interim-job-on-assurances-hell-be-retained

What’s the big deal with this contract?  The incoming coach is under no obligation to retain MJ.  I hope he does, of course.

Kinda feel that since MJ was handed the trash from SF that he should be receiving more then 200k if he were to win the big ten. Really a slap in the face.

Don't worry. If MJ wins the B1G--hell, if he can even get us to the B1G Title Game, he'll get the Brinks truck backed up to his house in a hurry.

Hell, if MJ can even get us to a bowl game, that would warrant a Brinks Truck and long-term deal IMO. We know he can recruit, and he's proven he can coach at that point.
