Interim Head Coach Mickey Joseph

Mickey is fine as an assistant.

But he can't even tell Whipple to play the QB Mickey wants him to play.

Not the answer.

I was hopeful that Mickey would be the guy, but today probably put the idea of him getting the job to bed. Not because of the loss in general, more in how it happened.

Yeah you can't blow a 10 point lead vs a team that hasn't won after going down 10 points in 32 straight tries. Minnesota played terrible and gifted us a win today and we threw it away somehow

And how did it happen?  Had a good game plan, then when it was adjusted to-by what some call a very good coach- didn’t have the depth to do anything different.   All on six weeks of in-season coaching.

Where are the adjustments by Mickey and Whipple?  If you give credit to the other team for adjusting, then you should blame the NU coaching staff for failing to make our own adjustments.

Are you just ultra disappointed because of the early 10 point lead?  Maybe Minnesota played terrible because we came out ready to play?  Depth and experience got us down the stretch, but give some credit.

You can’t convince me their isn’t a GA on staff better than Whipple. Dude is a doofus.

Experience? NU allowed a freshman backup QB to come in and torch them.

I mean you can think that but that's not what it looked like to me. They were dropping passes and just looked off. We did come out looking well prepared but that wore off quickly and they had a lot of unforced errors.

THIS ISNT MJ TEAM HE RECRUITED FOR THE LAST 4TEARS!!!!!! THIS ISNT HIS STAFF HE HIRED!!! look at the record of coaches who have No HC experience that have coached here and see that have not had a record below .500 but the coaches we have hired with experience all have failed to reach a winning record here

You’re acting like we have thoughbreds in the stable- when what we have is a bunch of sale barn killer pen horses.

And why would we make adjustments at half? We were up10-0.  This was an excellent long term coach, with players fitted to his system , winning this game.  Not us losing it.
