My dad was stationed in Offutt Air Force Base way before I was born, and when we moved there later, he remembered how awesome Husker football was.

1) How long have you been a member of Husker Nation? Since 1993 (roughly 14 years)

 

2) What/who led you to The Nation? I moved to Nebraska from Texas and saw the light. I am actually a Husker converted from being an Aggie because I saw the error of my ways years ago!

 

3) Where are you from originally? Texas but I lived in Nebraska for 8 years. Never want to live there again because I despise the cold but I love game days!

 

4) Where do you live now? Houston, TX

 

5) Favorite Husker memory? All of the 1994 and 1995 seasons as well as most of 1997.

 

6) Worst Husker memory? Tough one. It could be the 19-0 shutout by ASU in 1996 when our beloved Blackshirt tore part of a tree out by my apartment after the game. Or it could be the 2001 NC game against Miami. The KSU loss in Lincoln in 2003 and the PSU loss 40-7 were also tough.

Cory Ross for all the heart he had as a player. Ahman Green is also a favorite as a running back. Favorite QB is of course Frazier and favorite Blackshirts were Grant Wistrom and Dejuan Groce

Love the Option but WCO is where the game is now so I am learning to accept it.

2) What/who led you to The Nation? The fact that Iowa’s teams continually let me down plus my wife’s family is from Nebraska led me to become a Big Red fan.

5) Favorite Husker memory? My first trip to Memorial, a night game vs. Florida State back in the 80’s.

6) Worst Husker memory? The car breaking down east of Lincoln on I-80 after a close game against Colorado (we won!) or, the big loss at Colorado a few years later.
