1) How long have you been a member of Husker Nation? Admirer for years, but never a member until a year ago.

2) What/who led you to The Nation? My sister. I used to visit her when she was going to school and playing volleyball here at UNL, and I could always tell there was something different about it. Sounds cheesy, but the nature of Husker Nation seemed so much more pure than the bullsh#t I saw while attending Kansas. I've been all over since those days, and I can honestly say that nothing compares. It wasn't hard to take the plunge once I moved here.

3) Where are you from originally? Kansas

4) Where do you live now? Lincoln, NE

5) Favorite Husker memory? Watching the Huskers flat out smoke Florida in the 1996 Fiesta Bowl. Oh how sweet it was seeing all those smarmy sportswriters eat some crow after the fact.

6) Worst Husker memory? Haven't had one yet

7) Number of home games attended? 0

8) Number of away games attended? 0

9) Favorite Husker memorabilia/apparel? I don't own any.

A) I've been a LONG time board lurker. I've purchased a few shirts and things from here and have been with you all through the Callahan years, reading every game thread. Only until now have I registered and posted.

2) What/who led you to The Nation?

A) I was born in Colorado but lived in Nebraska as a child. I've never fallowed football until I hit 7th grade in middle school, mostly because my family has moved all across the country numerous times. I've lived in six states all through my childhood. Naturally I couldn't make any friends because of the moving, but the one thing I stuck with was watching the Huskers and wearing my Husker hat. When we lost, kids made fun of me. When we won championships, I was called a "bandwagon jumper". After a while I became uninterested in college football, until ten years ago when I met a good friend from Texas A&M. He brought back my spirit and my desire to watch the Cornhuskers and taught me to stick with it. I have fallowed Nebraska all through my life and only recently have I learned to appreciate it. Then I stumbled onto the message boards here and have lurked all through the Callahan years. But now I feel confident enough to post, although I still need Moderator/Admin help to get established.

3) Where are you from originally?

A) All over the country. I've lived in Nebraska, California, Virginia, Florida, Arizona, Colorado and Louisiana.

4) Where do you live now?

A) Shreveport, Louisiana... Twenty minutes from the Independence Bowl stadium. I've lived here the longest.

5) Favorite Husker memory?

A) Watching LSU win the National Championship and knowing Bo Pelini is going to be our head coach.

6) Worst Husker memory?

A) Living near Florida State University and listening to their fans gloat.

7) Number of home games attended?

A) Zero but I hope to change that if I move to Kansas.

8) Number of away games attended?

A) One Indedpendence Bowl. Ol'Miss - Neb (2002)

9) Favorite Husker memorabilia/apparel?

A) My old Husker hat that I've worn for about eleven years. It's faded with sweat, tears and blood. It has retired to my Husker shrine above my fireplace along with all my other Husker junk.

10) Favorite place to watch a Husker game?

A) Either at a friend's house or at home so I can cuss and scream.

11) Favorite all time player?

A) John Elway.

12) WCO or Option?

A) Wherever the talent is.

13) Stevie Pederson or Billy Byrne?

A) Byrne. I don't know.

A) Lil Red is easier for me to draw.

A) Power-I smashmouth

A) I have a huge supply of Jack Daniels because of a friend in the Thrifty Liquor business.

A) Simply typed "Cornhusker forum" in Google. Found a few boards and this one was the best so I lurked.

Salutations Husker Nation. Finally decided to make an acount, although I have been cruising around the boards for awhile.

Since the day I was born!! Born and raised in Lincoln and wouldnt have it any other way!

2) What/who led you to The Nation?

Family. Always looked up to my Grandpa for everything, and when you grow up devoting Saturday's to football, you have no choice!

Has to be gameday's in general. There's nothing like the atmosphere surrounding the stadium during the tailgates. I do remember the first time I ever experienced the tunnel walk. Goosebump heavon.

Would have to be the feeling of walking out of the stadium after a loss. Paticularly the Texas snow game a couple years back.

Hello folks. I wanted to drop in and say hello and register. This game with Texas coming up is starting to eat my brain. I'm getting pretty wound up.

About 1 hour now.

3) Where are you from originally?

Raised in Broken Bow, moved to Cozad a while, then out to Eastern Wyoming. In the Service from there

and all over the world.

4) Where do you live now?

Currently in Belle Fourche, SD.

5) Favorite Husker memory?

Probably the family Thanksgivings vs. OU in the early 80's.

6) Worst Husker memory?

Our offensive performance vs Texas in 2003. Then the failed 2pt conv vs. Miami.

2. 2007 ISU, and 2009 300 consecutive sellout game.

It doesn't matter to me as long as we have a strong power run game first. Compliment it with some

solid passing or option. Whatever works but a power running game first is what turns my dial up to 10.
