1) How long have you been a member of Husker Nation?

Since day one, July 22nd, 1986

2) What/who led you to The Nation?

My parents are both die hard fans, but my dad was the original one and led my mom to the light. I was born into it.

3) Where are you from originally?

Lincoln, Nebraska

4) Where do you live now?

Kansas City area

5) Favorite Husker memory?

Tough one...Ive grown up with it and been to well over half the home games in the last 20 years I have 3

-Nebraska vs. Florida for the 1995 NC

-Nebraska vs. Colorado 2008, I went with my dad and it took me back to my childhood and was the loudest I have ever heard the stadium

-Nebraska vs. Oklahoma 2009, my parents gave me and my pregnant wife their tickets, it was only the second game I have been to with her and what I consider the first for my still not quite born child. It was super loud and my wife said the baby was moving like crazy.

6) Worst Husker memory?

Callahan taking over right as I headed into college at UNL. Almost made the cheap student tickets not worth it... almost.

7) Number of home games attended?

Not sure... 70-80

8) Number of away games attended?

Sadly none yet... since i am in KC now I want to go to one at Columbia, Lawerence, and Manhattan

9) Favorite Husker memorabilia/apparel?

Sweats, any sweats

10) Favorite place to watch a Husker game? (section in Memorial, bar, friends house etc.)

Student section if I am with friends, Section 2 just under the balcony if I am with my wife or family.

-I'm a big Michael Booker fan. He was the guy I latched onto when I was young. I have 3 or 4 of his game gloves from when he played.

-Balanced attack built on the Option (what Tom started to move toward near the end)

Byrne, really got the husker money machine rolling... why is Pederson even on here (wheres Bob?)

Grandpa went to Nebraska, Dad raised me the right way as a Huskers fan

Familys from Lincoln, moved to St. Louis for jobs, born in Missouri raised a Husker though

Down in Springfield MO for college

Being 7 years old and going to three home games and 2 away with my grandpa, dad, and brother

Any loss stings but any game where we lost to Mizzou, that won't happen again for awhile

Beating Miami 24-17 in the Orange Bowl masterful 4th quarter, perfect finish in the perfect place against perfect opponent

Bill Callahan - seeing him still makes me shudder. I'm going to write a movie and Callahan will be the name of the villian.

5) Favorite Husker memory? Husker games with the family as a little kid, the championship memories from what i can remember. Henery's 57 yd FG, with Suh's pick-6, or i just call it a Suh-6.

6) Worst Husker memory? 2007 going to 4 different home games and seeing the worst performance and response from the fans i've ever seen in a sports event. (Glad thats over...)

7) Number of home games attended? I never really went as a little kid unfortunately, i'd probably say in the teens perhaps, many more to come.

Figured it's probably time to post since I've been lurking for about a year and registered for a while. So... Hey everyone

5) Favorite Husker memory? 1997 missouri game, listening to my dad cuss and yell at the tv and radio the entire game until we pulled it out.

6) Worst Husker memory? Either getting stomped at home by mizzou, or watching the usc players dance around on our field while our guys stood around with no emotion. Made me want to run down there and smash one of those classless usc idiots.

7) Number of home games attended? At least once a year since I was young, and every game while I’m a student so probably 30-35

8) Number of away games attended? 1 (@ kansas ’09, great fans great place. Tailgated with my uncle and cousins down there, was a blast)

9) Favorite Husker memorabilia/apparel? Either my Ahman Green jersey when I was a kid or my autographed Trev Alberts poster.

10) Favorite place to watch a Husker game? (section in Memorial, bar, friends house etc.) Anywhere as long as I don’t miss it.

Since I was 12 after my family moved to Lincoln from Buckeye country.

2) What led me to The Nation?

Had a locker room argument on my first day of school after moving to Nebraska from Ohio on whether Nebraska/Oklahoma or Ohio St./Michigan was the better college football. My wise father informed me that “We’re not in Ohio anymore”.

3) Where am I from originally?

I claim Lincoln

4) Where do I live now?

Dallas area

5) Favorite Husker Memory?

11/11/78 NU: 17 OU: 14 Stood the entire game in East Stadium

6) Worst Husker Memory?

11/18/78 NU: 31 Missouri: 35 I just knew Nebraska would beat undefeated Penn St. in the Orange Bowl for Tom Osborne’s first national championship. Wilder, Winslow, and Bradley had other plans.

7) Number of home games attended?

Every home game from 1975 through 1981. Since leaving Lincoln to go off to college, I’ve only managed to attend a few OU games.

8) Number of away games attended?

Far too few: 1981 OU in Norman. Texas A&M in 2002 and again in 2006. Alamo Bowl after the 2005 season and the Cotton Bowl after the 2006 season.

9) Favorite Husker apparel?

My Nebraska baseball jersey I wear for gameday.

10) Favorite place to watch a Husker game?

Besides Memorial stadium which distance precludes, it’s on my big screen plasma. I really need to get out more.

My childhood idols: IB Rick Berns, WR Tim Smith, and TE Junior Miller.
