Damn, that reminds me of a local news story here in Shreveport when a young black guy led police on a high-speed chase and parked in front of a gas station. He got out of his car and aimed a celphone at the police so they pumped like 30 bullets into the guy and downed him.

I've seen that video numerous times.

This guy was obviously wanting to die and at first I think he believed he had shot the officer. He stops and raises his arms for a second, but didn't pay attention to the other officer who drilled him.

No he wasn't hit. I think his reaction was to get out of the way. It sure looks like he did though.

I'm glad they made it and dumped the dirtbag... I had a guy run at me with a long, neon "marital aid" in his hand once... Didn't mistake it for a gun and dropped him with the taser... I definitely did not know where he had been, and I wasn't going to touch him... :cop:

Nah he fell to avoid the shot. I can tell you from experiance that the scariest sound in the world is hearing a bullet whiz right past you. It kind of makes you go into shock AND adrenaline rush at the same time.
