I spent a little time on one of their boards. Way too many were predicting an absolute blowout.

My own prediction was 34-27 in Double OT, which nearly happened.

Lynch is an amazing player, and the lines matched up closely, in spite of a size difference.

I do wonder how much the heat, and black jerseys, might have played in this. Starting a new qb went pretty well, though he played way better than Vandy last year, imho. He should improve quickly.

Also, Weisman is a MAN. I expect he will spend some serious time in the NFL.

Fun game to watch, if you are not an Iowa fan.

They were only favored by 3, a pretty even game was expected. At least they weren't favored by multiple scores and only came away with a 3 point victory.
