Iowa state scare ......

I've stated before that Iowa State's defense would have problems stopping even Northern Iowa. looks like I might be right.

 
Is too early the for me to get giddy for the season yet????

Is it wrong for me to take delight in the struggle of da poor cyclones :lol:

 
it just goes to show you, you can't underestimate teams that seem like an easy non-conference win.

Whether they be Toledo or teams like Louisiana Tech and Nicholls State

 
Iowa State wasn't the only team that the MAC teams gave problems too. I think it is too early to tell if this is any indication on how the rest of Iowa State's season will go. Remember, we had trouble putting Maine away last year.

It's still early, but the game was a VERY BAD start to the 2006 season. Blythe was ignored for much of the game.

 
I know it's early, but if a team like Toledo can put up those kind of numbers on them, I wonder what we will be able to do. It will be our 5th game, we will have experience, and our running game should be figured out by then. GBR!

 
Just like many people stated... ISU's offense is going to have to win their games. Their defense is pitifull and if they want any shot of beating us they are going to have to hang a lot of points on us, which I don't see our defense allowing.
