is anyone looking forward to this?

hell yeah i'm looking forward to this game! i wan't to see if nebraska can get a "signature win." I want to see if they can forget about loses and concentrate on the next game. I want to see if they can correct thier mistakes and execute like they could.

 
I always look forward to seeing the Huskers play, regardless of the opponent. Yes, Mizzou is favored, blah, blah, blah, but stranger things have happened...

 
I'm still young, and I don't want to die of a heart attack quite yet.

For my wife's sake, I'll record the game and watch it later... And listen to it on the radio. lol

 
Well, yeah. I always look forward to Husker games. Do I think we will win? Based on what I have seen so far this year, no, I don't.

It sucks that we probably won't be winning, but hopefully Nebraska can rough Mizzou up a little bit anyway.

 
Who would have guessed that Oregon St. would jump to a 21-0 lead over USC at halftime or Ole Miss upset Florida at home.............not this guy!!!!

So yes, anything is possible and we can WIN this game. The boys just need to work hard and the fans need to make so much noise Chase can't here himself call audibles.

 
Hell yea I'm looking forward to it. If we win I will be estatic and probably hammered too. :o

If we loose, I just wana see some serious hitting, great effort and maybe, just maybe a few bone jarring hits. (called as fowls or not) We need to let everone know we have the fight back in us and will make you remember who was on the field with you come the next wednesday. Nothing like a little pain to wake up your memory. I would love to see a few of the D-B's have the game of their lives, especially if we loose.

Anyting is possible. Look at CU beating OU last year. No one expected that. If we establish the running game early, knock the living crap out of Chase Daniel, and often and keep the Mizzou Offense off the feild we have a pretty good shot. My prediction is that Lucky breaks the slump and rushes for 150+ yards.GBR

 
Would be a whole lot easier to be optimistic if we had reason to be, but we don't know what Nebraska team is going to show up, and even if the fired up one that plays well shows up, Missouri has a heck of an offense, we better be able to slow them down. If we can't slow their offense down, our offense will be in a track meet with their offense, and at this point, theirs is definitely better than ours if you look at the numbers.

I was optimistic going into the VT game, not so much now...even if we would have beat VT, Missouri was going to be a tough game to win. The reality of where we are now is really disheartening to say the least.

 
In case everyone's curious. We're having a Husker party that night at OLDMAN's house! He's been kind enough to open up his home to us fans for the game because he loves the Huskers soooo much!

He's even going to tape the game on his nifty difty video tape machine recorder thingamabobber so that anyone who missed it can watch it!!

Trucker, I actually feel better about the team after the VaTech game than I did prior. They are very talented and a very good defensive team. They may end up ACC champion, who knows. I to feel we have a major hurdle with Missouri, but the kids played hard, made some mistakes that can be corrected.

They are actually playing hard, and I honestly did not expect that. Hopefully there will be a win, but if not, I think they will play to the end. To me that is a big improvement over last year and that is all I have asked for.
