Is BC sane?

BC does not go in front of the media and add insult to injury. I would guess that he will deal with the problem in house (and rightfully so). As for his demeanor, I will take BC interview anyday over the babbling and studdering of a Solich post game interview. God, I could hardly stand listening to that guy....painful, very painful.
:yeah

I am still waiting to see how many blackshirts are returned this week.

I have a feeling there won't be any. Bowman will continue to set an example of not wearing his, and his teamates will continue to ignore him and "wear em' proud!" Sickening...

A win is a win but I can't think of a worse loss for our D.

How about the Ball St. coach mentioning that he had faith in his kicker to make the kick, but adding that he really thought the holder didn't get the ball down very well...at first I thought, :-\ Hmm...that's not a very tactful thing to say, like blaming the game on the holder. Actually, I still think that, but what do you guys think?

I really question whether or not BC has what it takes to be a head coach. I have supported him since day one, but my support is wavering. Yes, he is an EXCELLENT "X" and "O" offensive coach, no doubt about it. However, what type of communication skills does he have with his players? I heard on the radio before the game that Callahan addressed the team and said that he wants his team to inflict "pain" on Ball State....and how did his team respond??? I see no fire and emotion out of this team, and doesn't a team take on the personality of it's coach? This is COLLEGE FOOTBALL, not the NFL. He needs to get this fact straight..these are college kids; not highly-paid, full-time NFL players. These kids need a leader that will motivate them and excite them to go out on the field and play with fire. Has anyone else heard the recent radio interview with Tim Brown (it's on the audio page)? Brown said that Cally was a "different cat" and had no skills at relating with his players.

The identity of this NU football team right now is that they are bunch of soft, emotionless pansies. Do we really want NU to take on the same identity of some lower-tier Pac 10 school, where any win will be a 42-38 shootout? Where is NU's toughness? It seems to me that NU football has adopted Cally's uninspired attitude, where being mediocre is acceptable.

I hate to say this, but Pedey has hired another Ron Zook. We have definitely upgraded the talent in Lincoln, but it's evident that the talent is not being developed properly. Unfortunately, our beloved AD will hold onto his brilliant hire for way too long, as he's too arrogant to admit that he made a mistake.

I thought the same thing when I read that. That was a lot to put on that kids shoulders
