Is (former) ESPN columnist Sarah Phillips scamming people online?

Huskerjock that looks like the girl in the video towards the end of the first article from deadspin. So I guess that's a yes. I think Sarah Phillips is Tyler Durden though...

Maybe it's just the camera angle, but her head looks huge compared to her body. It's freaking me out a little.

Is this the girl?

Yeah, that's a picture alleged to be "Sarah Phillips." Many are now concluding she's a myth, though. We'll have to see.

Note according to Deadspin:

According to several readers from Oregon, the blonde is Ivy Smith, a hairdresser who lives in Eugene. She—like Phillips—went to Sheldon High School in Eugene, according to a reader named Alan. LINK

Lost in the identity kerfluffle is the fact that ESPN hired this person to write on their main website, and she's likely a total fraud. This cannot be stressed enough.

Phillips, who posted around 10 items per month for ESPN since she was hired in September, was terminated Tuesday after Deadspin identified her as the ringleader of a scheme that allegedly conned popular web producers out of rights to their content. The 22-year-old used her lofty status as an ESPN writer to convince youngsters with high follower counts on Tumblr, Twitter and Facebook to join a non-existent sports comedy venture. In exchange for a stake in that site, the producers turned over their comedic Facebook pages and parody Twitter feeds to Phillips and others. She was looking for rubes and the Internet was full of them.

from Yahoo article today on Ms. Phillips. I gotta say, the fake Ms. Phillips is sorta cute.

Deadspin has another article, this time with pics that acquaintances of both Ms. Phillips and Mr. Prasad have sent in. They state they have verified that these are the people in the pics with other people who claim to know them. For the record, the pics in the Deadspin article look little like the cute girl in the pic in this thread.

EDIT - here's one of the pics, side-by-side with the pic posted earlier in this thread:
