But if you don't spit at the refs, are you even trying? You can win with that high energy approach and you can win with the stoic approach too. Its all about getting the players to trust that if they follow your lead, your instruction- that it will eventually lead to their personal and team success. PJ has that trust with his players.
PJ also has self discipline. After that atrocious fumble- no targeting call- he got the refs to come talk to him on the sidelines. He got a bit animated with them- but when it was clear the call would not be changed and nothing more could be done, he put his headset back on and got back to coaching. He didnt let his emotions get the better of him. Hes a grown up.

Not enough. You gotta swing the hat. Swinging the hat shows you are fully in command and energetic and emotional enough to rally the players.
I'd like to hit him with an oar.I’d like to hit Fleck with a hammer.
And holding a cat helps too. I think you need both. A cat and the hat.Not enough. You gotta swing the hat. Swinging the hat shows you are fully in command and energetic and emotional enough to rally the players.
Dr. Seuss is offensive these days. :sarcasmAnd holding a cat helps too. I think you need both. A cat and the hat.
Whats Pj Flecks record vs Neb?Why this PJ love, because they had a good first half against a brand new QB that was on the road...only to get smoked in the second half???
PJ will never have a RB like Mo again (who is also gone for the season now) and has a 5th year starting QB.
With all that they sucked last year and just got smoked in the second half by OSU.
3-1 all in blowoutsWhats Pj Flecks record vs Neb?
