Is something evil happening for the KSUX game?

Agreed.. I am not against the "Bl#@*out" as long as it is against a team that doesn't have black as one of their school colors. The whole idea vs MU was the dumbest thing I have ever seen or heard. Nothing like making the stadium appear to have a lot of visiting fans. Now, since KSU is purple, I can understand a ---------, (kind of). I will be wearing RED though.

So can someone fill me in on the history as to why that word is "illegal"
I'd like to know this as well. I get that nobody wants to do a black out at Memorial Stadium. The question is, why is that word blocked here?

Actually more people than you think want to do this. Most people on here are staunchly against it though... I think two years ago there were threads ever week about doing it, and last year there was a big rumor NU-Mizzu was going tot be one. I believe the student section has done it once or twice, mainly last year for the defense...
OK, thanks for filling me in (and I See Red People, too - thanks).

I can guarantee that Nebraska won't do a Black Out ever again. I exchanged some emails with a lady in the staff at Bo's office about a possible Pink Out next October, and one of the reasons she cited for not doing it was past failures at Blackouts. She said everyone just wears red, and it doesn't come off very well on TV.

So no, it will not be a Black Out next Saturday. Don't worry.
