Is the team progressing

Walk-on
Not about next year.

The question I ask is, did this team get better as the season went along?

I don't see it.

Huck

Non-con was bad and I know people like to talk about the touch non-con games but tough games don't really matter much if you are losing them.

Then they start 3-0 in conference and it looked great but it turns out the 3-0 was sort of smoke and mirrors.

Now ask yourself, which teams have gotten better in conference as the year went on?

MSU

Minny

Iowa

Illinois

Michigan

Which stayed the same:

Purdue

Rutgers

PSU

Which have gotten worse? Does NU fall in this category?

NU and Wisconsin

I think we've fallen in the regression category. After the first 3 conference wins we looked like world beaters, and now we look like a bunch of dead beaters.

Better:

MSU, Iowa, Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota

Same:

Rutgers, Purdue, Maryland, Northwestern, Penn St, Ohio State

Worse:

Nebraska, Wisconsin, Indiana

My opinion of the B1G this year.

Minnesota will DESTROY us

I think I agree with all of those. Now, Illinois is "better" but they are still horrible but yes they have gotten better. Minny is really looking good right now.

Fact of the matter is We have gone 3-9 in our last 12 games, which us unacceptable. We were first in the B1G at one point this year

Tim Miles has had 1 good month in 5 years of coaching at Nebraska. We are not better.
When you think about it...this is so true.

1 good month and being really "likable"

I know some people are excited for next year but they might really struggle with only Watson being able to drive to the hoop.

I still don't know why Miles won't press and run.

Its always "next year" with Miles is it not?

I know people want to give him another year but I have been done with Miles since the Gardner-Webb loss. The only reason he made the tourney was Petteway and Pitchford played out of their minds IMO

Interesting thing to consider:

If the problem really is Miles, would it be better to cut him loose and try to let someone else take advantage of the talent we have? As opposed to keeping him around and just hoping things get better.
