I'm sorry but what you are hearing is true. We actually TRIED to throw fruit on our field last year when we played Iowa St., but as we pulled our arms back to fire the fruit onto the field it slipped out of our hands. I counted that this happened to me at least 8 times and we finally gave up.

The main reason our conference bowl bid was moved from the orange to fiesta bowl is that it's really, really hard to throw a tortilla chip from the stands onto the field. An orange not so much.
