ISU Game tonight - Huskers watching?

I still think if nothing else the coaches should be able to gather a game plan for the next game. Maybe some type of running scheme, to keep our offense on the field longer. I also noticed a lot of Iowa st players seemed to be dropping, it looked like army was outhitting them.

This should really show us waht callahan is made of, what type of game plan he can conjure up with this scouting report.

Army handed that game over to ISU. Barney Ball doesn't look any better then Nebraska's offense. They scored all there points against Iowa off turnovers and that crappy INT by the Army QB cost them the game. People are giving ISU way to much credit when they haven't earned it. Don't give me the ISU didn't have anything to play for line. That's crap. They have a ntional ranking and need to prove that they are worth it. The truth is they went out and SHOULD have lost to a team that won 2 games last year and 0 the year before. A team that also lost to Baylor. If this would have been NU people on here would be yelling and screaming. ISU does it and there is excuse after excuse why they struggled. Come on folks.
Exactly. Where are all the people that were shaking in their boots when Iowa St. was mentioned this week?

Seems like ISU isnt quite as good as was first thought, hmmm.

NU has a very real shot, lets hope they make some progress on offense.

Should be a win at home for NU, but more than anything, it will likely be a close, low-scoring game.

I think that's what we can expect all year, the way things look.

I watched the entire game and i will say this. ISU was looking ahead to Nebraska. ISU would have to be stupid not to be looking ahead, and here's why. Nebraska has 2 weeks to prepare for conference play, ISU has less then a week after last nights game. ISU probably had a simple gameplan for Army, and that was stopping the run, after what Baylor did to Army the previous week.'

The biggest matchups to fear in this game is Todd Blythe (sp?) going after Grixby because of the height mismatch. Keep in mind also ISU played a large portion of the game without Hicks, to be on the safe side for next week's matchup against us. Regardless what excuse people want to give regarding the performance of ISU last night, ISU is still a dangerous team and proved they can rush and pass (look at overall stats, not just last night's stats). ISU can move the ball (not consistantly, but they can )

I'm not ready to write this game as an automatic W unless a statement comes out from ISU saying Hicks won't play next weekend because of his sprained hip. Then all we have to worry about is Todd Blythe
