Martinez arguably plays one of his best and most efficient games of his Nebraska career, and we waste it because on poor playcalling and turnovers. I expect more than that...

 
Beck was a complete idiot today. How many times did we get stuffed on 3rd or 4th and short? Throw the ball, they made Martinez look like Dan Marino

The Blackshirts were given out too early as this is not the blackshirts defense we saw last week. Incredible. We should have crushed Northwestern. Forget the B1G championship game because Michigan is going to eat this defense alive.

 
the play calling was absolutely terrible. when t-magic had one of the better games of his career you throw the ball. instead we decided to run the ball even though it was obvious we could not do so. just terrible. nevermind the lack of use with the timeouts in the end of the game.

I agree. Beck was completely off on his playcalling today. I thought I was watching a Shawn Watson offense again. How many 3rd down plays did we have where we called a play or had routes run short of the first down sticks? It was just a very frustrating day.

 
A loss to NU? You guys are now officially in the Big Ten, welcome to the club. It seems like they trip somebody every other season or so...I know exactly how it feels. It sucks.

My condolences but hey Michigan lost today, you're not out of it yet.

Michigan didn't even matter genius. if we beat them we each would of had 2 losses with us having the tie breaker. We HAVE to have Mich St. lose one more game, and win out.

Hey buddy, every game matters as you learned today.

 
Most of his incompletions were drops. I think there were only 2 that weren't drops, and one bounced off of Caputo's head because he was walking around istead of being bothered with playing football. Hell of a game by Taylor, what a waste.

What's this talk of making the championship game? This team is middle tier at best with the ability to play completely uninspired ball any given saturday...

 
I liked the play calling. I just felt that Northwestern played good defense and were better then us today. Any game is up for grabs ... everyone just thought we were gonna walk thru a "powderpuff".

 
Beck was foolish today. Huge cushions from the corners and we took advantage of it at times (see all of Kinnie's catches) yet went completely away from it when we needed it (3rd/4th and short).

 
We score 25 points, we should win. we didn't stop the run. it's cliche, but it's true - run the ball, stop the run, win the game.
