Well, the sun still rose this morning, and it's a pretty day! Still kind of hurting from yesterday, but it doesn't seem quite so bad. There are lots of "if's", "and's", and "or's", but the game is over and done. We will move on and we will be OK. If my Dad were here, he'd say....."there's better days ahead", and I believe there are. We are Nebraska and we will be back!
Dear Lord, the battles we go through life,
We ask for a chance that's fair,
A chance to equal our stride,
A chance to do or dare,
If we should win, let it be by the code,
Faith and Honor held high,
If we should lose, we'll stand by the road,
And cheer as the winners go by.
