Kids are to greedy anyway. 

 
The earlier we start, the more people outside the conference are going to be interested in our games.  Starting this late, they are all going to have a "who cares" attitude.

But....I guess we will at least be playing.

Yes and yes.

I'm 99% certain the latter will happen regardless since I think a lot of those tailgating areas are privately managed and don't have to comply with a lot of the indoor health measures of restaurants and bars right?
