Jakes Cigar Bar in Benson

How many of you guys have been there? What do you think of it?

I like it, it is pretty laid back and they have a great selection of beers.

 
Good beers, although Krug Park across the street has a better selection. Jake's has one of the best playlists in the city too. Definitely one of my go to bars in Omaha. It is the only place I end up smoking though, I am not even that big on cigars but I guess after a few it is too easy to say yes.

More so than Jakes is. No TVs and more wood/leather interior. One bartender was a bit of a beer snob too, but you cannot beat the selection. 50 beers on tap, probably over 100 different bottles. I usually go there early when I am in Benson and only stay for a drink or two then move on.

I have been told Krug and Jake's are owned by the same guy, I don't know if that is anymore than table talk though.

 
Jakes is a good place to grab a brew. They mix a decent cocktail as well.

I agree that the atmosphere at Jakes is a little more relaxed than Krug. Both are well worth the time.
