Jamal Turner QB "experiment"

Interesting, to say the least. Glad he's getting a shot at the position he came here to play.

 
It won't hurt. He can have some packages that he could run. He could add an explosive element to our offense from the qb run aspect.

 
Be good to have a 3rd String QB that know the offense well. As we saw last year, we need the depth. Plus he can help the youngins since hes been here longer. I like it.

 
Umm...this is a waste of time unless the coaches have absolutely no faith in Armstrong or Stanton. Maybe a 'gadget' play here or there, but otherwise he should be focusing on getting 'good' at his WR position rather than just being 'ok.'

 
Turner is too fragile to expect him to be a full time running QB. I like the idea of him having a package of plays, but I don't know about full time starter. If we wins the spot, so be it...

 
This spring is the time for us to experiment and maybe take it to a different level. He likes it. He thinks he's Russell Wilson. Jamal isn't lacking for confidence.

He knows the WR position inside and out...don't see what it hurts letting him work at QB some during the spring.

 
Its a dumb move. First Jamal is a senior and has been working at the WR position for the last 4 years and second what message is that giving Armstrong and Stanton. EDIT: It also takes away another highly talented athlete at the WR position

We are deep and talented at the WR position. Spring is a good time to see if Turner can be used for more wrinkles in the backfield. Not to mention perhaps the one thing to get us past the 9/10 win mark is better production and less turnovers from the quarterback position. Leave no stone unturned.
