That was an awesome play and the crowd went insane over it. Even though a flag was thrown on the play that would've cost a TD in a real game, I still thought it was awesome to see in a scrimmage. I didn't even bother to see if Bo was chewing him out for doing that.Presented without comment.

Bo met him on the field as he was walking off. He said something to him, but Bo was laughing about it afterwards.I didn't even bother to see if Bo was chewing him out for doing that.
I agree. I think that this rule will cost a team a game next season.I can almost guarantee that sometime next season a player will dive into the endzone, because he has to to score, and be flagged for it. I hate this rule so much.
I'm cool with it. I just real hope he doesn't get caught up in the moment if he has an awesome play as a freshman in the Big 10 title game. More than that I just wish that stupid, useless rule didn't exsist.I'm pretty sure Turner is a bright enough kid to know that you can do that in a scrimmage but not a real game. Can you really blame a freshman who had an awesome play for doing it? Nahhhhh

:laughpoundNow, about that somersault.
Pelini told players before the game: Don't celebrate after touchdowns. Just hand the ball to the official.
When Turner made the grab over the middle, split the secondary and dashed to the goal line, Cody Green started running down the sideline to congratulate him. Then the veteran quarterback saw the somersault.
“I was like, ‘Oh, no.'”
“As soon as we looked back,” Green said, “Coach Bo comes running. ... We just kind of looked back and said, ‘Good luck, freshman.'”
Even Jamal Turner couldn't escape this predicament.
While i dont mind a little show boating in the spring game a move like that is not real smart. It could've went the Adrian Peterson way and broke his collar bone. If i were him i would've "popped the top" like i was drinking an adult beverage.
