Jared Crick's condition

Don't know if it was Crick or not but one of our guys got tackled and the broadcaster guy even mentioned 'the hold' as he called the play. I hate it when our DLine gets tackled. They need to run them through running back drills or something. Lots of hands to the face too, not just stiff arm type.
Pretty sure that was Steinkuhler in the third quarter. He got taken down, but it was more a factor of getting tangled up than getting tackled. The guy got Stein's center of gravity all out of whack and shoved him down. I wouldn't have called that one holding, more like a pancake.

As several posts have pointed out, he obviously has an injury to his left shoulder/arm and was not using his arm at all in the final minutes of the game. Where is the fish aquarium guy when you need him?

Bo said in B1G teleconference that Crick is getting a few days off this week but that he's doing fine and will be ready to go again next week.

Defensive linemen get good stats when Defensive Backs have good coverage and cause the QB to keep the ball longer and longer. But when a QB can get rid of the ball in 3 seconds or less, it will be real hard to get a sack.

Bo Pelini has announced that Jared Crick is out for the season with a torn pectoral.

Crick out for season

Huge blow to the Husker defense.

Bo Pelini released a statement on Wednesday afternoon saying senior defensive tackle Jared Crick is out for the remainder of the season with a torn pectoral muscle.

Just heard it on 1620 damm that's sad. So his Husker career is over then since he's a senior and played 4 out of 5 games. He earned his degree over the summer.
