****Jason Peter on Jim Rome show now *****

I was driving back to work from lunch and heard Peter on Rome's show. Sounded like a pretty interesting interview and how Jason had some issues with pain pills? Just seeing if anyone was listening or if anyone knew more.

 
It is good to hear Jason Peter has his life back on track. His voice certainly doesn't sound the same. Maybe he has a cold or it's from the hard living.

I liked that his favorite football memory was playing along side his brother Christian. Rome couldn't argue that it was the best team of all time in 1995.

 
It was great hearing from him again. He was a great player for us, along with his brother, and he will never be forgotten.

 
Jason had an interview with Bryant Gumbel on his HBO show. Jason looked terrible. He basically explained what he been through and all the drugs he had used. The drugs go further than pain pills. The good thing he said he finally is turning his life around. He is coaching High school ball now.

 
started with narcotic painkillers....up to 80 a day.

then he went on to the hardest narcotic opiate....heroin.

he is coaching as an assistant and not getting paid for his time. last time i saw him on tv it looked like he was down to about 200 lbs.

i wonder if he ever sold the Harley that he was selling on ebail awhile back? it was a shame to see that he was selling it, but he didnt want any help from his family......said his famly didnt get him into the situation and he didnt want them to help he get out of the situation that he got himself into

hope things work out for the best for Jason.........he will always be a HUSKER
