Javorskie Lane

Lane is tough alright. It's going to be a great challenge. After the loss to OU, I'm sure A&M will be looking to play for pride this week, or the Green Bean Bowl. :P

He may have been goin' against some tough hitters, But he has yet to see the likes of Mckeon and Octavian. I am confident they will be able to stop him dead in his tracks. Carriker is a frickin' animal, so i have no worries about outside play. I think we will be able to keep Lane well contained with our talent in key positions. Bring him on!!! :bonez

 
I would rather have them at full strength when we beat them!! aTm will have to prove their strength against our front 7. Go Blackshirts!!!!!

 
OH NOT SO FAST SWEATHEART! :LOLtartar Please remember we gave up 267 rushing yards against Oklahoma St. and 119 to Missouri. Granted we didnt have McKeon or Octavien 100%- which should be a HUGE help. Our defensive linemen didnt get the job done it needed to, to contain the rushing attack when it needed to. Nebraska is ranked 57th in the nation behind 36 A&M. Oklahoma is 24th. Nebraska pass defense is 51st and A&M is 52nd ironically:) Nebraska is 53rd in scoring offense A&M isnt in the top 100. Remember these are just stats, i think anything can happen at Kyle Field, crowd will be intense and our boys will have to bring some nasty, smart, and fast defense to hang with these guys!

I do not think that our defense will be intimidated by this bruiser of a running back, nor do I think he will be a huge factor in the outcome of the game.

Our BLACKSHIRTS will play with pride and our offense will play with an intensity that will take the crowd out of the game and make them play catch up which will help keep the ineffective lane back blocking to protect the qb while he is passing.

Every team we played has had that mentality. Good luck with that. Here's a nice stat for you....on 3rd and 4th down Javorskie Lane is 24/24 on first downs or touchdowns.

Lane running style is man to man body on body he is no speedster..........we will have to see but I think our d-line was made to shut him down.IMO................
