In all seriousness though, Goodson is the back I am worried about. Lane is a big guy but we have some beefeaters in the middle. And nobody (Not Texas, USC, or even Okie St) has run up the middle with success on us. so he might get his 2 or 3 3rd and 1 conversions with a 2 yard game (Yippee) but he won't be that much of a factor in the game.

The guy is a beast but he isnt unstoppable and he surely wont beat us single handly....has has multiple games where hes been held under 50 yards so tho a tall order we can shut this guy down.

Every team we played has had that mentality. Good luck with that. Here's a nice stat for you....on 3rd and 4th down Javorskie Lane is 24/24 on first downs or touchdowns.

Cody Glenn had VERY SIMILAR NUMBERS back when we were smart enough to use him.

I'm not worried about the J-Train.............if I was our defense I would want him to be in there that way I could prove to everyone that he can and will be stopped. Nobody runs up the middle on us with success and he's not fast enough to get around us on the outside.

Lane is a LOAD!. I was thinking about this game at work. Lane and A&M have a great running game. They dont throw it much. I think that is playing to our strenght on D too.

This is actually a great matchup for us! ATM will play right into the strength of our D. I'll take my chances with our front 7 any day! I'm more worried about their home field advantage, it's definitely a tough place to play.
