Dailey had nothing to do with that did he? He wasn't very good under Turner either. Our qb's haven't performed well at all, he made dailey worse.
No way dude. A good coach could have taught Mickey Joseph to run a WCO-type offense. :dumdumDailey had nothing to do with thta did he?
Hey Benard....How does it feel having it rain on your parade 24/7? You b!^@h more then anyone I have ever seen on a forum board! I love constructive criticism but you would think constant complaining must get tiresome sometimes....Oh never mind it doesn't I see! <_<
:rollinHe was suppose to be this great coach that callahan waited and waited for and so far next to callahan he's the biggest dissapointment so far. Our qb's haven't performed well at all, he made dailey worse. He definitly isn't calling good plays at the right time along with callahan. my opinion.
I'm sure alot of people think he's a good coach but my point is he hasn't proven anything yet. Dailey looked pretty decent in his time as a frosh and looked decent in his first few games but I think everyone would agree he got worse as the year went along. As a coach its your responsibilty to get better and not worse.Dailey had nothing to do with that did he? Ask ole Bob Stoops how good he thinks Norvell is. Considering he hired him to coach there.
Same could be said about Tom Osborne. It took him 25 years basically to win a national championship, and took him 5 years to get over the hump known as Oklahoma. It also took Osborne 6 years to win a Big8 conference title outright (not a shared one like in 75 and 78 with OU).I'm sure alot of people think he's a good coach but my point is he hasn't proven anything yet. I agree. We definitely got spoiled during the nineties, and now we want instant gratification. People, rebuilding a football team doesn't happen instantly. And it didn't happen instantly when Osborne took over, or Devaney for that matter. The team should improve year to year, and then when all the pieces are in place, we have a shot at another dynasty.Same could be said about Tom Osborne. Problem- the program didnt need a ground-up restoration, it certainly needed changes, and some of those were made, some are still being made (facilities).I agree.
