JD Spielman rumors

I can definitely understand.  After Minnesota stomped Wisconsin and solidified not only a great season, but also their spot in the BIG Championship game, who could be blamed for......oh, wait.  Never mind.
Yea they only have twice as many wins as us and more than we’ve had in the past two seasons. They must suck.

Love me some JD but I don’t think he has a chance in the league. Undersized and not fast enough to balance his lack of size.

He'll be a 3rd day pick in the NFL draft after his senior season at best regardless of where he plays.  He might as well stay and be a Husker record breaker.

JD and AM are roommates...just a fyi
Thanks for reminding me.  That makes my theory about JD not liking his QB improbable.

It also makes the supposed rumor about JD being one of the guys not bought in even more interesting.  The guy rooming with your starting QB, the one Frost sticks with no matter what, isnt bought in....(if thats even true that JD isnt bought in, is interesting)

This is lame and not happening.  JD is set to break school records and should be a captain on the team next season.

Eh, considering the previous WR coach literally did not recruit a single player in three years, I think he gets a little chance to build it back up.
JD begs to differ...all time husker receiver?

Walters has gotten us squat

Williams didn't recruit JD.  Riley did.

Walters helped recruit Wan'Dale Robinson.  Perhaps you've heard of him.
Split hairs much?  Who was Reilly s WR coach?

Held recruited Wan dale besides he mostly was a running back.    Not really a WR either is he?

Do you just start typing random thoughts?

JD Spielman is about to become the most prolific receiver in Nebraska history because every quarterback in his three years here found him open and dependable. There were games when JD was the only thing working, and he succeeded with the entire defense keying on him. He took massive hits, got hung out to dry on a few of them, but always kept coming.

I'm not sure about the definition of "buying in", but I'd appreciate if we didn't assume his disloyalty to Frost or Martinez, or push him out the door to save him from a dumpster fire, because I'm almost certain he will return along with every other disappointed player and give it everything he's got, like he always has.
