At the presser Tom said the selection of assistants would be up to the new Head Coach. I can't see him telling Pelini to make Gill the OC unless Pelini was in full agreement that that is who he wants in that position.

that would have to be part of the deal for both coaches. may be a little much to ask of either, maybe not.
