Jim Mora to Texas?

Lots of talk about Mora and Gruden on the Dan Patrick show this morning. I thought Gruden had said that he does not want to get back into coaching and that he loves his Monday night gig, but his name keeps coming up. I think Mora is a great coach, but is that the splash that Texas was looking for?

 
Sounds like they'd like to interview Briles in the next week and he'd take the job if offered.

 
I hope Mora doesn't leave UCLA, if he did we could conceivably see the resurgence of both Southern Cal and Texas.

Yeah, I hope it doesn't happen. Mora at UT could create a dynasty. Plus, if Mora turns them down we get to watch the Whorns twist in the wind a while longer.

Just received a text from eSECpn saying that Mora says he's committed to UCLA

We'll see...

 
As long as it's Chip Brown breaking the scoop, I'll know it's rock solid.

FWIW the Strong rumblings are getting louder according to a friend in San Antonio
