The odds of him becoming a husker were very slim. I believe Andre Jones is one of the JUCO's we are recruiting who will end up here. In fact, i am pretty sure he will verbal to us very soon

No suprise. No one from within the Oregon AD ever could confirm he was committed to Oregon. In fact, i read a report on him that had it down that Oregon hadn't even accepted his verbal. He might of gotton tired of waiting for Oregon and is moving on

I wonder if the staff will even pursue him because we already have the one juco commit, they will probably go after high school kids now.

 
My understanding is that the coaches want 4 year guys here and they already got a 2 year juco, so their going to shift priorities. Right now A. J Wallace (visiting), Andre Jones (committed), Devin Ross (visited), Jai Eugene (has us in his top 5), Ricky Thenarse (visited), Shareece Wright (visited) and Corey Young (has not visited yet) are our main focus. Those guys are on NU's wish list at the moment. Some with more priority then others, but mostly all on NU's VIP list for the DB position

 
Hello, the info that I have on ashley palmer is there is a very good possibility that he may be a visitor for the ksu/UN game - 11/11

johnson who is N & is a teammate of palmer at compton jc, has along w/ the UN coaches have been working on palmer to visit UN - & a visit may just come true for all who are involved - as stated before this kid wants to commit & to end his searching - he has for the most part already given two soft verbals to or & ms - & I think that this weekend if he comes & sees what UN has to offer he may give his final verbal, which could be a solid verbal

p.s. ashley palmer will graduate in jan

 
there is talk about Ashley Palmer visiting but i haven't included him in the official visit list untill i hear otherwise. Right now, its just specualtion that he will visit this weekend.

 
hello, ashley palmer has finally decided to visit. He will be coming to UN 12/09 w/ dj jones, & juco ot aaron mason (q carter will be at UN 12/10).

I believe there is a good chances UN snags him w/ ola dangunduro, a former teammate at compton jc, & brandon johnson, a current teammate & UN verbal nodding him toward UN

plus, blake is recruiting him, as he did the other 2 compton players - johnson & ola

so, if c young commits this week as rumored, & palmer who is looking to settle on a school commits on his visit, which could happen, that will garner 2 for the very scarce position of s for UN

& UN will just have to wait & see where & when davis will visit other schools, & if thenarse & mouton will do the same
