Do some of you really feel that Green is an asset as a starter in our DB? I wasn't impressed last year by him other than as a returner. Am I wrong? In fact my take was that he and Grixby were marginal and were as a unit the weak link in our defense.

Word on other boards is that his JC coach and his JC teammate "the beast" are still steering him to NU as he did NOT join UW and Slick Ty this spring as expected.

I did some research via the Seattle papers. He's supposedly enrolled in a community college in Seattle and WAS present at their spring practices.

So it's still a LONG shot to get him here.

Too bad, because he'd be doing the same thing in Lincoln that he's doing in Seattle!

My guess is that he's at a community college in Washington because he's going to play for Washington. If I'm wrong, I'm still not sure I want him here!
