@JJ Husker and @teachercd
Status update of being actually in the school building.
I have now been here 3 hours.
7:30-7:55: Coffee in the lounge venting about Monday's in-service
7:55-8:10: Hallway supervision (only needed with kids in building)
8:10-8:20: discussed with class on goals for projects today and deadline changed due to "cold day"
8:20-8:45 Shop supervision
8:45- 9:00: Home room. Literally said the Pledge and babysat for 10 minutes.
I am currently in the middle of two Study Halls in a row.
I've been here 3 hours, I've only done my "job" for 10 minutes... this is our tax dollars at work...
As @teachercd told me the other day, because I watched a whole Netflix series in a weekend (not at work), you guys need to get a jobOhhh, let me do mine!
7:30 - 10:10: Sat around, no class to teach.
10:15 - right now: US History (where I am pushing my beliefs on all the students)
No hallway duty
No morning duty
I did "write" a letter of rec for a student trying to get into college.
And we know these people don’t live in a known flood plain and that they weren’t aware they needed special flood insurance for an eventuality like this?I learned something here today. Seems kinda B.S. by FEMA with those rules
Wasn't sure where to drop this.
For some odd reason people here like you keep thinking in partisan terms when bringing this stuff up to me? I don’t care who was in charge when it was all happening. I’m for exposing it all and getting rid of the waste. So USAID funding got its first spike during the Reagan administration, got another big spike in the first year of the Bush administration before ratcheting back in 2004, followed by steady increases under Obama and Trump before taking a huge spike during the global pandemic.
Thanks for the warning.
Yeah, I was hesitant to post this for that particular reason. I figured it was mostly true, because I remember when Clinton did a lot of cutting in his time. Shutting down old military posts and things like that to save money. He might have a valid point, but I would vet the living s#!t out of anything Jesse Watters posts. His claims typically leave out the most important context, or invent facts out of thin air.
