Just saw someone wearing a blue nebraska shirt with red on it.

Much Respect, and i have a new found respect for the people at Penn St who werent involved with it. Its a sad sad day, Good to see not college foes but people coming together.

Blue NU shirt? hmm, interesting...

Anyhow I've always disliked this sort of thing, it seems like a cheap and superficial way of addressing this tragedy. I kind of feel the same way about recognition of veterans and service members at football games, I mean…special uniforms, giant flags and a few chants are nice and all but I’d rather not have them as it seems like many people think that fulfills their “patriotism” and “support” requirements for the year or something…it’s almost insulting that we make these efforts in passing at a sporting event you know..."Please take this moment of silence to think about <serious issue> and now back to the game!..and get your personal pan pizza at Papa Johns on level three!"

But hey that is a whole different discussion.
