He was actualy a 5 star recruit from HS and went to FSU but didnt qualify, he said they didnt follow through on promises to help him get in. Then he went back to Caly and took a year off to live it up in the OC. Also cool stuff is that he has 4 years to play three@@!!

Yeah thats is what sean callahan said on sports nightly tonight. Sounds like he was a big party animal back then.

For the record, Justin has mentioned that Jay Norvell was the key guy that really sealed the deal for NU. Good to know our staff is solid all the way around the horn. :)

He also said that he would have never been here if not for Zac Taylor, who was really the man recruiting him. Thank you HB for letting Zac come here to play!

Sweet.  I know there's a big debate about not falling into the KState effect by becoming too JC laden -- but it sure doesnt hurt to open up a pipeline from one of the top JC's year n and year out --  from the depths of Kansas no less.  Somewhere Bill Snyder is still picking his nose.
No doubt. If there are good players there in JC's then yea we should go after them. However, HS talent is where the meat of your program is going to come from in the long run IMO.
Yes, it seems about 1 in every 5 jucos turns out. Also do we really want to be known as the cincinnati basketball team of football. Getting to many jucos in your program causes academic problems and trouble all around.

I think we would about 20 more years of this to even be considered the cincinnati of college football. They haven't had a kid graduate in about 15 years from their basketball team.

If we are going to compare him to Trev then maybe we should watch him play in a game first. I remember Bernard Thomas saying that he was going to break the season sack record but only came up with one sack in the last game of the year. Lets let someone do the talking on the field before we brag him up.
