Keep The Faith, You Will Come Back!

Walk-on
I'm a diehard Buckeyes fan and have been since I could remember anything growing up in farm country in Ohio. Ohio State football is in my blood. I just watched the Nebraska vs Iowa game and was rooting for the Huskers. It's been a very tough season for you all. But don't give up . Nebraska football will come back. Buckeye fans can see it. There are several things that come to mind when I think of Nebraska football that I can remember going way back to the days of Tom Osbourne. One - you are absolutely great fans and are at the top of CFB in that respect. That's key for any team to return to winning. Two - you have a remarkable tradition that all CFB programs admire. That foundation is critical. Three - you did make progress this year. Yes your record is not at all where you'd like to see it but this season the team proved for sure it can compete anywhere with anyone in the country. That included some very tough road games where even the best teams in the country would find it difficult to win. That is progress. You had no loss greater than 9 points and look at who you played - Oklahoma, TTUN, MSU, Wiscy, Iowa, Minnesota and OSU. That is a GAUNTLET. Fourth - Coach Frost is a diehard Husker who has proven he can win as a player and as a Head Coach. Remember and you would have to say he inherited a very, very tough situation. It takes years to bring stability to a struggling program. Fifth - The Big Ten and CFB is better when Nebraska is playing great football. Keep The Faith Husker Fans! You Will Come Back!

Nebraska will come back when it hires a full time special teams coach and finds the right QB.

Scott Frost just may not be capable of pulling that off, though.

And a great playcalling OC.  It will be tough for Frost to change the losing culture because he is a big reason why Nebraska has one.

I personally don't think play calling has really been the problem this year. Except for some goal line stuff in a couple games.

Play calling wasn't something that stuck out to me that big today. Watching Smothers hold onto the ball and back up into the end zone for the safety, the fumble on the snap, and the ridiculous throw to the other team are at the top of the list for me personally.

Told my wife to order me a Clemson T or hat for Christmas.  TBH, they have been my second team for like 30 years, but I am so damn frustrated with the same crap.  Great quote from Courtney Stevens-Nothing changes if nothing changes.......And that's where we are.

Sorry, but the road back is currently blocked by the head coach.  When Frost is fired, only then will Nebraska have cause for optimism.

Frost is clearly out of his league.  That isn’t going to change next year.  He’s the worst coach in the Big Ten; whoever is ‘next worst’ is an infinitely better coach than Frost.

As long as Frost is coach, there will be dark days for NU football.

You cannot overstate just how awful Frost is at his job.

The play call on the safety play was horrible.   Frost needs to be stripped from playcalling which I think he is doing.

Coach Frost's play calling seems right for his players on offense. Looking at each of those close losses ... they all change on a few plays. That's it. Team mindset is key.

Undone / Packerhusker fan - hear what you're saying. It won't be easy to pull it off. But it can be done. Agree QB next year and going forward will be critical. Your RB room looks good. Ervin looks like he has real promise. Your TE room also looks strong. You need at least 1 playmaker out wide that that has speed and can separate.
